It is with heavy, broken hearts that we announce the passing of one of our Greystone family members, Mark Shegon. Mark passed away on Tuesday, January 25th, surrounded by his wife, Tina, and his four children.
Mark was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle, and his greatest passion was his family. He was always quick to show off the latest photo of their weekend adventures or tell you about his children’s many accomplishments. Family and friends recall him using his architectural skills to build customized, LED-accented bunk beds for his kids and hosting Top Chef-style competitions, where he acted as the brave judge for his children’s creative dishes. He was married to his wife, Tina, for 25 years.
Over the last 23 years, Mark has served and advised countless Greystone clients on new campuses, expansions, and redevelopments. His deep expertise in the industry was critical in overcoming many challenges and accomplishing project milestones. Around the office, he was known for his humor, positive attitude, and willingness to pitch in when asked. His warm, sincere personality brought a unique light to our family that will certainly be much dimmer without him.
We are shocked and devastated by this profound loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tina, Will, Ben, Matt, Caroline, and the rest of the Shegon family during this incredibly difficult time.
If you would like to send a card, please send it to the following address. We will ensure it is forwarded to the family.
