The campus will be Forefront Living’s second continuing care retirement community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Greystone is pleased to share that Forefront Living has broken ground on its newest campus, The Outlook at Windhaven, thanks to the successful pricing of its $197,735,000 Series 2022 Bonds issued through the New Hope Cultural Education Facilities Finance Corporation and underwritten by Ziegler.
Forefront Living, a faith-based not-for-profit organization headquartered in Dallas, TX, has offered high-quality senior care since 1960, with a focus on making each moment matter for those they serve. They are the not-for-profit parent of Presbyterian Village North, Faith Presbyterian Hospice, and The T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center, all located in Dallas, TX.
Their newest campus, The Outlook at Windhaven, will be located in West Plano on 18.25 acres of locally historic land that was originally owned by the Haggard family. The campus experienced strong market receptivity and achieved 70% pre-sales in just 10 months, three months ahead of the original plan.
“Greystone is excited to continue our relationship with Forefront Living,” Stuart Jackson, Senior Vice President of Client Services at Greystone commented. “The accelerated response of the market to The Outlook at Windhaven helped us overcome dynamic construction and capital market conditions to secure a successful financing.”
The campus will include a five-story building with 153 independent living apartments, 30 independent living cottages, 32 assisted living units, and 24 memory support units. Other amenities include underground parking, multiple dining and café/bistro-style options, a wellness and fitness center, a pool, wine bar, beauty salon, outdoor living spaces, walking trails, residential storage, and more.
“We are thrilled to begin construction early on The Outlook at Windhaven,” said Timothy Mallad, CEO of Forefront Living. “Our organization is committed to making each moment matter for the seniors we serve, and we are excited to expand our mission in the Plano area.”
Construction began in July 2022 and the community is expected to open in 2024. Other development partners include Andres Construction, Three Living Architecture, BridgetBohacz + Associates, zumBrunnen, and AnsteyHodge.
