The Colorado Springs Gazette reported this week on Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America’s plans for an $80 million, 234-unit senior living community on 26.5 acres in the northwest portion of Colorado Springs. The Kansas-based nonprofit is in the “early stages of planning and financing” the community, whose first phase will include:
- 170 independent living units
- 40 assisted living units
- 24 memory support suites
PMMA has already opened a marketing office near the site of the community, which will be called “Aberdeen Ridge Senior Living.” Once the project’s first phase successfully opens, PMMA could add a second phase with additional independent living units and skilled nursing beds.
