On June 17, Concordia Life Care Community held its First Annual Hand in Hand Luncheon & Fashion Show at the Express Event Center in Oklahoma City. Residents, resident families, staff and sponsors attended. A nearby Christopher & Banks donated the clothing worn by volunteer models ranging in age from 21 to 91.US Foods donated the food served to 85 guests. World-renowned violin player Kyle Dillingham and The Pulse Quartet provided entertainment. All funds raised by the event go toward Concordia’s Good Samaritan Fund, which provides assistance to pastors or church workers who wish to move to Concordia but may lack the resources.
Concordia is a continuing care retirement community in Oklahoma City. Its mission is to uphold Christian values while meeting the current and continuing needs of seniors of all beliefs in a safe, secure and caring environment. Greystone serves as management consultant at Concordia.
