A new Indianapolis-area senior living project took a big step forward last week. The Barrington of Carmel, a continuing care retirement community planned for Carmel, Ind., received $119 million in permanent financing. Sponsored by Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation (SQLC), The Barrington will include 134 independent living apartments, seven catered living apartments, 56 assisted living units, 26 memory support suites and 48 skilled nursing beds. The Barrington is SQLC’s sixth community. Greystone is serving as development consultant and manager.
The first residents are expected at The Barrington in fall 2013, and site work on the community’s 19 acres has already begun. See construction photos in the gallery below. Click here to learn more about The Barrington of Carmel.
